Chelsea Clinton doesn't think she's the right person to try to defeat President Trump in 2020.
"I clearly don't agree with our president but I'm definitely not the right person to run to defeat him in 2020," she said on CBS Tuesday when asked if she wanted to run for political office, a statement that seems to hold open the idea that she might run later.

What sort of person would put money on her to win the Presidency? I don't mean a $20 wager in a casino, I mean, who would back her campaign? She's not even directly in a position to promise anything to anyone...at least as a Congressperson or Senator (and both of those are a stretch), she could claim some sort of legislative influence. Even if this is just a ruse to invite interest, I can't imagine her running for mayor of a 3-person town in upstate New York, much less anywhere else.
