And there’s no way Obama isn’t involved, since he changed the rules to allow this very stuff to be passed around to agencies where they know they can have people anonymously leak it to the press. Susan Rice knowing the unmasked version is not illegal, but Obama making it so that Susan Rice can tell the moles that will leak to WashPo is a conspiracy that involves a lot more people than just Susan Rice.
I think Trump should be working very quietly to get an extradition agreement with Tahiti...

The posters point is that Susan Rice isn't using your line of defense, that she did it and that it's legal.
As the poster has pointed out, her line of defense apparently from the March 22 interview is that she disavows all knowledge of the unmasking.

I didn't say "FISA rules". I said that the executive branch rules were changed when Holder in 2011 submitted for approval to the FISA courts, rules that were more lax.
Of course the FISA court ruling, and the executive branch rules, should be based on the FISA law.

I don’t know what the laws are regarding this other than what I have read here.
BUT- common sense tells me if it was NOT illegal:
-Why LEAK the info? Why not just report what was found?
- Why attempt to back pedal about what she originally said, even denying she even said it?
-And if it was NOT ILLEGAL, then WHY is there an INVESTIGATION underway?
So with no answers to these questions, my common sense is telling me that she did something very wrong, which in her govt position can only mean one thing: she broke the law!
I there is a good chance Rice is already singing. Trump and others have had had this information many days now. And if this is the case, or if she’s willing to cooperate and ID others involved, then some type immunity might be extended to her. I dunno.
