For those of you who have buried yourselves in a right wing cave:
The Tuesday Group is an informal caucus of approximately 50 moderate Republican members of the House of Representatives.
Pretty sure even in a world of Quantitative Ease that 50 is more than 25.
People have to sit down and compromise. Politics is the art of the possible. The Freedom Caucus has to sit down with themselves and look at each other and ask the question:
Can we get Obamacare repealed 100% and nothing whatsoever inserted as a replacement?
The response would be . . . “Jesus put us here to do that”, and “I didn’t come here to leave Obamacare in place.” and “I will never vote for Ryancare!!”.
Then the “leader” of the Freedom Caucus has to nod and look at them and say “I’m sorry, I don’t understand. I asked a yes or no question. Were you saying yes, or no?”
Frowns and silence. The moment they all look around and agree the answer is no is the moment when it becomes possible to do something about reducing the influence and power of Obamacare.
Hey, RealPolitik-boy, what part of ‘government may not force us to buy something simply because we draw breath’ are you not getting?
The "Tuesday Group" also declined to support Ryancare.
In any case, you know what you can do with your John Kasich, Jeb Bush, John McCain style of "conservatism."
Did the moderates vote to repeal Obamacare? Did they campaign to repeal Obamacare? What negotiations need to take place to actually keep your word? Drain the swamp!
Neither I and I think many others know what the hell you’re talking about :)
Trump never even TRIED to twist the RINO arms.
And explain the 50 votes to FULLY repeal obama BEFORE it might actually happen.
Time to face the reality of our decision.
