My Congressman announced publicly that he was opposed to the bill. He's far from a FC member ... this is a moderate district at best.

I'm still waiting for anyone in the GOP to call him out the way the FC is being criticized.

P.S. -- He gave several concrete reasons for opposing the bill, but the only real reason was that more than 75% of his constituents opposed it. You'd have to be retarded to support a crappy piece of legislation under those circumstances.

Sorry, but the issue is not one of substance, but of process. The Reps had 7 years to develop a consensus on the bill. They failed to do so. They also failed to use the power of the purse despite controlling the House since 2011. The GOP helped make over 100 fixes to Obamacare thru legislation.

The fact is that many Reps, perhaps your Congressman in a "moderate" district, favor mending, not ending Obamacare. It was a useful target to attack politically when they had little power to overturn it. Now that they do, they come up with excuses about a bad bill.

I have read the entire bill. There are lots of good things in it that need to be passed. It is not perfect. Take a look at sections 101 to 251. What's not to like?
