This is the first I’ve heard of or read about this. Did it happen in DC near the George Washington University, or was that merely used to set up the piece? The story has gotten no coverage that I’ve heard of, and I (regrettably) in the DC media area.
The Scorpion and the Frog
A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the
scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The

The expectation of safety is a CIVILIZED thing not a "white thing". I rarely have felt safer any place than in Japan and white they are not. They are civilized. Major uncivilized behavior will result in your being shot in the back of the head one fine morning. They have the death penalty and they use it.
And as for black people not feeling safe, please! Black people feel safe in the very same areas that white people feel safe.
My neighbor feels no less safe on his lawn then I do and he avoids the unsafe areas in the city the same as I do.
