Would someone please explain to me why in the world the Republican House, which passed multiple repeal bills under Obama’s presidency, can’t pass one of those again? And what good does electing a Republican majority do when, with the House, Senate, Congress and soon Supreme Court, we cannot accomplish conservative objectives?

Look to FR for an example. People constantly whine, complain, and murmur without being able to gain a consensus with reason and persuasion. Remember the primary wars. The country at large is much more diverse. At some point one has to make a deal and leave something on the table to accomplish some objective(s). God gave us a miracle last November. There is a lot of murmuring, envy, and rebellion in the air and God is not the author of it.

I agree. So much talk and no action. Trump is doing his part as much as he can with EOers doing away with regulations, toughening up on immigration with ICE doing its job and AG pressuring sanctuary cities. But congress, they are stuck on stupid. Sigh.

You’re right! My question was (mostly) rhetorical. I do believe that the November election was miraculous. My prayer that day was that God would hear the cries of the unborn and give our nation another opportunity to undo Roe v. Wade.

Beautifully stated and so true. I wish I knew the answer to dilemma of convincing people who don’t want to compromise that it’s the only way to succeed. Sigh.
