If this story is accurate, then Congressman Nunes isn't even a key player anymore. In fact, his House committee isn't even relevant at all. Their only purpose is to serve as a mechanism to get the information about those daily briefings out in the open.

If that.committee investigation was shut down tomorrow, President Trump could have redacted versions of those daily briefings posted on the White House website within hours.
