Stephen Lemons, of the Phoenix News Times, reported that about 40 or so assorted anarchists and members of various left wing groups gathered across the street from the state Capitol on Saturday in opposition to a pro-Trump rally openly armed to the proverbial teeth.

While it is not unusual that wanna-be para-military lefties should arrive at a pro-Trump rally with menacing faces, clenched fists, and nasty rhetoric, this is the first documented case that I’m aware of in the recent spate of protest, counter-protest movements that have swept this country, since the inauguration, that included a leftist group brandishing firearms.
There are those who might be tempted to make light of this, as it seems that in this case these gun-toting were simply taking themselves way to seriously.

There are Trump supporters and there are Trump protesters. There are no counter-protesters.

I noticed on the video about half of the marchers were wearing brown shirts.

That shooter was an Asian man who apparently was there to protest the Milo appearance.
He said he thought he was being attacked by a "Neo-Nazi Skinhead" when he fired on his assailant. There are at least two videos which clearly show the incident.
He was definitely under attack when he fired, and the police never charged him with anything. They never charged his assailant either. Things that make you go "Hmmmm".
I believe that incident was a "Blue-on-Blue" casualty.

No slight intended, Mr. Slim. And I think that “former” tells us what we need to know.
As long you are their target, you have nothing to worry about when they start shooting. On the other hand, if you are an innocent bystander two blocks away,... Well, it just might not have been your day.
