Not interested in whose fault what was or not.

Anytime spent telling me why you couldn’t get it done is time spent on still not getting it done.

Get. It. Done.

“”Saying no is easy, leading is hard, but that is what we were elected to do. Leaving this caucus will allow me to be a more effective member of Congress and advocate for the people of Texas. It is time to lead.””

So tell us Ted, just how would passage of this crap bill have been “leading?” Guess you aren’t a real conservative after all.

Didn’t they pass a great bill a year or two ago, that Obama vetoed?

Is there some reason Ryan can’t pass that bill again? Other than he knows/fears now it would actually be signed by the sitting President.

Now the Dems are pushing “single payer healthcare” as the Dems are given the moniker as the “Action Party” and Reps as the “Do Nothing Party” by the phony news and MSM.

You think this won’t have an effect? It WILL.

F Caucus now messed up EVERYTHING - will the wall be more easier now, or more difficult? How about the tax cuts? More difficult now or easier?

How about Single Payer as the Dems are projected as the Action Party? More or less likely?

Single payer is now more likely, the wall and tax cuts less likely. In fact the Dems will now say we must raise taxes to “stop the disaster of the Trump economy”, as Americans look at their IRAs and 401ks nose dive, do you think they might be convinced that tax increases and single payer is the “solution”?

The F Caucus handed the Dems a YUGE win, exactly the opposite of what some said will likely pan out as Obamacare further implodes it will be blamed on Trump for NOT raising taxes, for deregulation, et all, Dems will be turned into heroes by the MSM and Reps into DC slugs who do nothing.

F Caucus gave Hillary another day to live and come back. Obama still gets his agenda. Thanks F Caucus you 20 idiots. Just watch when Yellen raises the interest rate 1%, watch things really start to dive next.

Hope you’re not in credit card debt.

So, Ted, are you going to lead the effort to re-introduce the Bill that Barky vetoed in 2015?

"To deliver on the conservative agenda we have promised the American people for eight years, we must come together to find solutions to move...

Bullcrap - Trump was not elected to advance the conservatism of the Heritage, Trade, or any other such group. He was elected by bunch of Americans not belonging to any group but wanting a better America. This included a pile of Democrats who liked 'the cut of his jib' in defeating the roster of Republicans and rejected Hillary. Trump was more a populist than a conservative. Good ideas are where you find them. They aren't always 'conservative' or 'liberal'. Deal with the Democrats Be above politics. Represent us.

Poe had prepared to vote for the Republican American Health Care Act, which was ultimately pulled from the House floor when Republicans learned they did not have enough votes to pass it, reported Fox News. Poe said he was unhappy with the caucus opposition to the bill.

Bull Cheese. I believe Ryan pulled the bill from a vote not because Republicans were not gonna vote for it.

But because Democrats were.

I assume that Poe wasn’t getting enough love from the MSM as a Freedom Caucus member. It seems that he buys the GOPe model of “leadership” - Lie to the base during primary and election seasons, then force crap sandwiches down the throats of the base when in office. I guess that the HFC might bid Poe good riddance.

When it’s a bad bill then saying “no” should be easy. But not as easy as saying “yes” just to go along with the flow regardless of what the flow is pushing.

Saying no is easy...

It didn't seem so easy when it came to blocking Obama's spending agenda.

Got a little hint for all of you. I am friends with the former MI 1 House Rep. I called him one time to see how it was going while he was in the house of reps. He was at breakfast at the time so we didnt talk long. Told me that in no way can anything be done because they all are being paid by special interests and their congressional pay is just a tiny bit of what they recieve in personal revenue.

NOTHING WILL EVER GET DONE! NOTHING!

He stayed in long enough to collect his retirement and left disgusted. Told me good luck since the people DO NOT mean a dam thing to any of those in that place.

So yell all you want because you and I do not count for ANYTHING and they could give a rats ass if you or I die.

The Freedom Caucus WAS leading to avoid a change from Obamacare-D to Obamacare-R ..... Poe going squishy, IMO.

From link:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3538475/posts

Much of the finger pointing has been directed at the House Freedom Caucus, with rhetoric like this: Its members are not willing to compromise, and cannot get to “yes” on anything. The response to this is very simple and true. Prior to this year, the House voted to repeal Obamacare more than 50 times -—when it was clear that President Obama would veto the bill. The problem we are facing is that some of the people who voted for repeal 50 times will not vote for repeal when it counts, when it is “our moment in time,” with Republicans in control of Congress and the presidency. It would stand to reason that if we truly want to pass a bill, to make good on our promise of the past 7 1/2 years to repeal and replace the broken law, we would put the same bill forward that already passed with near unanimous GOP support. That right there is the problem, that some are ducking for cover when the vote matters most, and so the blame game misses its mark.

........... on the policy. The GOP leadership’s bill included premium increases of 15 to 20% until 2020. That is not progress. While some were led to believe we were getting a repeal of Obamacare, this bill left in place the worst planks of Obamacare, the parts that drive up the cost of insurance. If you want to be able to shop for your health insurance, like you used to be able to, that was not in this bill. If you want your premiums to go down to where they used to be, that was not in this bill. If you are a young person who just wants to go out and buy a bare bones insurance plan that fits your life and needs, that was not in this bill. In fact, the federal bureaucracy would still be in charge of telling insurance companies how to do insurance, and that is the major problem. The federal government is doing insurance just like we had the federal government doing mortgages right before the financial collapse.

Poe was a Harris County judge noted for meting out creative and fitting punishments.

He was a tea party candidate for congress, and until his election, I viewed him as a solid rock-ribbed conservative.

D.C. transforms people.
