Trump’s actions are more conservative than the policies of Bush 41 and 43. We have Jeff Sessions as AG. The HFC are being tougher on Trump than they were on Obama. You can bet there will be a major fight on raising the debt limit.

I agree. While I don’t think the HFC has a decided role in the overall conduct simply because they aren’t enough of a significant number to do anything but block because of how the ideological numbers shake out on Republican/Democrat sides.

Regardless, I’ve been an engineer all my life since graduation - near 40 years, and I was much older than normal graduates when I started. I have been in LA and seen the smog and filth in the old days. I’ve been in most large cities and have seen the pollution - quite a while ago.

What I see now is a SUBSTANTIVE pittance of what was before. That was science doing good things and not political things like the bullshit carbon credit crap of today.

I remember smokestacks in the pulp plant I worked and the misting scrubbers we put in - they cut that problem in the air more than you can know. Much much more. But THEY weren’t satisfied. Because socialism, communism and everything else failed, the only thing available to them was this BS global warming/climate change/we don’t like it crap.

Their goal is taxation however they can implement it to conduct their entitlement progression. The last thing they actually care about is the ‘environment.’
