Ha ha! Insanity is doing more of the same thing even when it’s obviously a failure
It doesn't matter; Trump is president and no matter what some posters keep posting here, President Trump is NOT for "SINGLE PAYER" and has a veto, over any Bill that Congress sends him. Also, the GOP holds both Houses and this ctrap is easily buried and never brought to the floor; let alone become a passed Bill.
Yup....I like Sundance, but sometimes he really just slings it, like this.
“Complete unconstitutional government takeover of healthcare as a necessary step to complete abandonment of the Constitution and government takeover of free enterprise.”
That’s been the plan all along. Obamacare (”Obamabuse”) was just meant to be the midwife to give birth to this monstrosity.
This will be THE issue of the 2018 campaign.
And it will prevail.
I'm now having second thoughts about him.
Remember when it was all supposed to have been debated and designed under the watchful eye of C-SPAN? That didn't happen.
Remember when SanFranNan said we need to pass it before we could find out what's in it? Remember the "deeming and scheming" to get it out of the House?
Remember how it was designed to fail under the concept of Cloward-Piven to 'overwhelm the system', drive it into failure under Obama, teeing it up for Hillary to transform it into single-payer-socialized medicine?
Remember when Roberts took the law to the workshop and figured out how to morph it from a mandate to a tax? Hammer to fit, paint to match?
This was a dog, a pig, and a turkey all rolled into a feces sandwich.
It will take some time to undo, and it is being un-done, for the most part, in "regular order" - a concept unknown to the Marxist-Socialist-Leftist (but that is redundant).
No it won’t!
He’s ok. He sometimes can be bombastic & overwrought....like here.
AHCA was a slower train to the same destination.
The biggest challenge to this sort of thing is that it has had disastrous results in every state where it was adopted in some form or another -- including Bernie Sanders' home state of Vermont, which dropped their "Green Mountain Care" in 2014 after only three years.
Sending Bernie Sanders out to promote single-payer health care is like sending Mitt Romney out to overturn Obamacare.
So they’re admitting that obamacare isn’t working?
This. +1.
This is where we are headed and I dont give a rats rear end what anyone says. If the republiCONS dont get their act together and put up legislation to correct this in the next two years, they will lose the congress and we will have a lame duck president.
I will bet a beer to anyone here that they will eff up the tax overhaul also.
They do NOT want to do anything.
It really is not a fair bet to CONS will eff up X.
That’s all they do.
this was there plan to begin with. the democrats always planed on Obama care failing miserably and then replacing it with a national healthcare system. my guess is that this plan was formulated around the time Obama care was passed and all that they are doing is tweaking it for the political realities unforeseen seven years ago.
Vermont abandoned single-payer health care because they finally figured out that their state budget is something like $4.9 billion per year and single payer would cost $4.6 billion....nearly double the state budget.
Taxes would have had to sky rocket to pay for this nightmare.
They broke the health system to crap by being partially in charge of it, so let’s put them fully in charge of it!
YEAH!
(of course, they will still be exempt from it.)
This. Way overplaying whatever hand he/she has. Moderates were going to vote against this bill, as well, but no mention of them. Agenda much?
