I’m not sure why ‘our side’ is so eager to take the responsibility for the morass of legislation that is ocare. And for the President to demand lemming-like lock step from independent minded conservatives who have principled objections is silly.
“Im not sure why our side is so eager to take the responsibility for the morass of legislation that is ocare.”
Because it doesn’t exist in a void, and everyone that is screwed by it is going to look at the party in power to fix the mess.
“And for the President to demand lemming-like lock step from independent minded conservatives who have principled objections is silly.”
“principled objections” doesn’t mean $*^t to the people that were forced into this system, and have no way out, while they look at a bunch of “principled” people that are exempt from it, sit around and feel smug that they got a “win” that will ultimately leave it in place for who knows how long.
