What difference does it make you what Schemer does? Get their votes on record and deal with the blowback. What was presented was garbage that left the theft by big donors and lobbyists in place, and made Obamacare bipartisan, NOTHING else.

I have been a supporter since September of 2015, but he seems to want me to be the opposition.

Remember all the arm twisting, bribing, blackmail that went on in order to get the votes for zero to ram through Obamacare? Trump could gave done the same thing. But thankfully Trump is not zero. He did his best to make the deal. When they could not agree he washed his hands of it. It was the appropriate thing to do.
And yes he is irritAted with all of them. As we all are.
Trump doesn’t kiss ass or play politics or compromise or achieve his goals through trickery or thuggery. He is not zero. He is the anti politician. Frankly I don’t give a rat’s ass if his fake approval numbers sink to 5% which was about the same as his chances of winning according to nate silver et al.
Trump shifted right to win the election. His natural instinct for most of his life was liberal. I think he’s simply reverting to his precampaign positions. Ivanka and Jarod are accelerating the change.
And yes I voted for him because he’s better than Hillary. But I was never fooled that he was a conservative.
President Trump,
We love and support you and believe that you are a great leader similar to General Patton. However, we’re not delusional and think you are a conservative or ideologue. Your support of socialized healthcare and criticisms of the Freedom Caucus are disturbing. You are completely on the wrong side on this issue. Government should get the hell out of healthcare! I sure hope and pray you will turn 180 degrees on this issue and support a full repeal of ObamaCare.
Nevertheless, we are very thankful of the outcome of the election and believe you will be a great president. You have already started draining the swamp and changing politics as usual. That being said, we the American people are going to hold you accountable. BTW, did you see how the Freedom Caucus cheered for you and gave you a standing ovation when you met with them? Awesome! You can criticize and ridicule us if you want Mr. President, but we will continue to cheer you on because, on the whole, we know that you really do want to MAGA! We are a forgiving people, but we really want you to succeed even if we don’t see eye to eye on every issue. Did we mention that we love and support you?

So where is the hard core repeal only text that can get 60 votes from a 2017 Senate. Or even emerge from a 2017 House?
All those previous votes were for bills that could not become law, so lots of votes were cast that had no cost to them. No one blames anyone for a vote cast for something that didn’t become law.
But now you face a Senate that would filibuster. So where is your text to get 60?
Chest beating ideology doesn’t get legislation to the President’s desk.
Y’all are wallowing in an ideology echo chamber here where you’re not required to govern. But with a majority, you have to govern, now. So where is the legislation that will get 60? Or even 50 Senators, with at least 2 likely to lose their seats next year. Where is it?

Stating the obvious here, but Trump is not your typical politician nor conservative. He is about results first in my opinion.
If the FC doesn’t work with him on a center-right solution, he will move to the left and find 20-30 democrats who will deliver a center or center-left solution.
He sees Obamacare as far left, pushing into single payer so to him any solution with movement right is an improvement. Which I think is true.
I love Trump because he is a tiger with his own stripes, but over the next 4 years I believe there will be moments where he goes left to get things done and I’m going to have to trust him to get the most he can out of every negotiation.
I’d love a full on repeal with everything they talked about before elections, but the political will is not there in 75% of Congress and this is as conservative of a government you will see for the next 50 years.
I say be pragmatic politically and take what you can get.

Defunding PP was held hostage. The Swamp said, "Sure, we will defund PP if you make Obamacare a permanent entitlement."
The Republicans hold Congress. They can pass a clean bill. Trump can demand a clean bill. Cruz would have done so on day 1. Cruz would have the Justice Dept all over PP for racketeering.
We got Schwarzeneggered.
The Healthcare issue is not done yet. Trump will get this problem fixed later this year. Its not a failure. Just a delay. Give the man some time. Obamacare took the better part of two years.
