Infowars apologized on Friday for its role in perpetuating the "Pizzagate" conspiracy theory that connected a Washington, D.C., pizza restaurant to a child sex ring run by Hillary Clinton.
Talk show host Alex Jones, an avid Trump supporter who runs the site, went on air to read a statement where he personally apologized to James Alefantis, the owner of Comet Ping Pong, which was repeatedly harassed and threatened for its alleged connection to Pizzagate. It was at that restaurant in December that a man from North Carolina walked in and fired a rifle as he looked for evidence supporting the conspiracy theory that there were underground tunnels through which children were trafficked.

Pizzagate was the best false flag ever.
Lots of FReepers jumped to conclusions in the absence of hard data and facts just like we criticize MSNBC and CNN for doing.
If there is something there, it will come out in time, and through reputable sources, backed up with proof. Not from conspiracy nuts on the internet or reddit.

What you mean they are admitting it’s not true, after calling everyone a naive idiot? The story didn’t make any sense and distracted from the Epstein case.
I did a search on pizza for the emails. Pizza was code for something.. if they are using code it is illegal. They don’t mind immoral, just no prison. Pizza is used in the few emails I saw as a verb.

Third party sources for use at infowars? Wikeleaks exposed a conversation that authorities or professionals in human trafficking recognized as common signals among child abusers.
Their acknowledgement of the language used is what gave the story legs and implications. Were they malicious? I think not. What was done with their informative tutorials for spotting underground terms of evil doers, is what it is.
Much of it seemed quite convincing, at the time. The Podesta art in their home didn’t help their case, either.
Also the Stratfor emails. Obama spent $60,000 of taxpayer money flying in “pizza and hot dogs.” obviously code, but that’s where it ends, sadly. Anything beyond that is speculation.
I don’t know if you noticed, but the “apology” has gotten more coverage than the original “expose” did. If you listen to the “apology” you will see that Alex lays the whole case out in a way that is guaranteed not to be censored by YouTube, because it is an “apology”.

Exactly. There was never one iota of truth to the whole damn thing. The BS was so far over the top it was amazing.
There were way too many people who WANTED to believe that there were secret underground rooms, children were sacrificed, the Podestas had kidnapped a 3 year old British girl in Portugal, a picture of a grandmother taking her grandkids swimming was really an ad for her to sell them into sexual slavery, etc.
We are way too easily consumed by the BS others feed us.
InfoWars barely covered PizzaGate and backed off their little coverage when the allegations first started getting MSM notice.
PizzaGate grew out of Reddit and 4Chan researchers.
I missed those.. prob wouldn’t have thought it too strange, but in the pedesta emails it was clearly a verb, and clearly illegal. Someday I might look those up to, but honestly all I needed to see was the podesta stuff to know something was criminal.
The only viable way to investigate is to vet the sources as messy as that might be in those forums. Possibility #2 could mean that someone creates someplace to distract from fire someplace else. The fact that Podesta and his brother had sick tastes and the Clintons had unsavory (at best) connections was the real smoke.
Regardless of how accurate it all was, it was fun watching the leftist RATS struggling with it. Hopefully more of the left’s lies and corruption will be countered with stuff equally false and scurrilous.

Jones must be apologizing because YouTube has taken down all their videos, not just Jones either, and putting the squeeze on people. Therefore ruining them.
Inforwars sure isn't it, I've seen their 9/11 truther garbage. They're a bunch of UFO nuts that decided to start branching out.
