If the Republicans were going to do that, they should have put a full bill forward and then had the Senate Dems filibuster it. Now the Republicans own the failure and look incompetent.

Letting it die on its own is the safest move. I don’t have a problem with any of this honestly. Time to move on to tax cuts.
