Years ago I made frequent visits to a vendor look at stuff they were making for me.
On one trip I went through the routine and missed the CEO. I enjoyed meeting with him.
I learned that the company had been sold and the CEO went to greet the new owner at the air port. His credit card and company car keys were surrendered and he was left stranded at the airport. He never set foot in his office again
What the heck does that have to do with anything?
