I despised the Never-Romneys, and heck, I even opposed the Never-McCains. If either of them became the clear front-runner against Hillary I would have backed them last year. Even Jeb Bush.

Sure, they couldn’t have lit a candle to Trump or Cruz, but we know too much about Hillary and Obama to the point it’s as much a ‘no-brainer’ as needing to breathe.

Had you gotten your way back then, we'd have RomneyCare today and its failure would have handed both Houses to the democrats and the Executive Office to Hillary this last election. We dodged a bullet. I withstood the slings and arrows from the Romney fans politely and stoically in those days, because I could see the pieces played forward. We are in a much better position today with Trump in the oval office and majorities in both Houses. It was a chess game, and we did well, even if you disagreed with us then.
