I certainly won’t argue that point!!!
My two cents. The ObamaCare turd has to be deconstructed incrementally. If Freedom Caucus likes the changes it must be ok? Just getting rid of the mandates it will implode. It’ was going to implode either way. What they do after implosion is key.
No.
See my post 12.
These amendments may not pass the reconciliation rules.
So they could be thrown out.
Or they may pass under the rules, in which case they wouldn’t be thrown out.
But the key point is they would not cause the whole bill to be thrown out.
I’m a growing geezer. I don’t need maternity or pediatric bennies. Why should I have to pay for a policy that includes them?
Would prefer to think RYAN DEFEAT rather than Trump defeat.
Ryan made the shoes for defeat, he should wear them.
“Would prefer to think RYAN DEFEAT rather than Trump defeat.”
Technically, yes, as Trump deferred to Ryan to get it through.
But perception-wise, not even close, it will all be on TRUMP’s SHOULDERS, even before the media has at him.
As long as it is government run healthcare, it is unacceptable. I haven’t heard word one about keeping our doctors, or getting back the plans we liked before Obamacare.
Have to live with it until next year when Obamacare can be completely repealed.
Huh?
All I know is this. Trump will get this done.
I am a former Cruz fan - very much former after some of his nonsense during the election. Still, I am happy with what he is doing on repealing Obamacare. He has personally raised several major points that improve our chances to repeal a much larger fraction of this terrible law. I’m still not happy with what I expect, but it’s better than a watered down Obamacare.
The right answer would be to repeal Obamacare with no replacement until the repeal is signed. That’s not happening, so we should give credit where that credit is due.
