Members of the intelligence community collected ‘incidental’ communications of the Trump transition team during legal surveillance operations, producing ‘dozens’ of reports which eventually unmasked several individuals’ identities and which were ‘widely disseminated,’ a top lawmaker said Wednesday afternoon. House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said none of the reports he had read mentioned Russia or Russians and he was unsure whether the surveillance occurred at Trump Tower. Nunes also was unsure if then President-elect Trump was captured by the surveillance, which occurred in November, December and January. “I recently confirmed on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected intelligence,” Nunes said.

Reasonable people can come to no other conclusion that it was TRUMP who was under surveillance. Once THE RUSSIANS are eliminated as a target, nothing else makes sense other than TRUMP was the target. ILLEGALLY!

Now, why isn’t the media asking why Obama ordered raw intelligence data to be made available to many more agencies just days before he left office, thereby increasing the likely hood that such information might be leaked. They don’t want to know the answer, that’s why. A very good case could be made that Obama was briefed on these “intercepts” and that together with the “Russia” meme being put out by the Obama CIA, NSA and FBI prior to and after the campaign, and the Clinton campaign accusations about Trump and Russia, that Obama then changed the procedures so that raw intelligence data could be released to 16 intelligence organizations to increase the likelihood of leaks. That is not a stretch at all.
As you inferred, "US Persons" began to enter the tapped conversations. Someone within the NSA leaked these names out to their favorite liberal media dirt bags. I believe Comey was probably being truthful in his testimony. We will soon know it was the NSA behind this mess. Unless Trump himself decides to not reveal the real conspirators.

My Guess: GCHQ picked up communications while monitoring Nigel Farage, who was in frequent contact with Trump’s team during the BREXIT vote, and the run up to the 2016 U.S. election.
The disclosure of Nunes makes another thing certain now. Once he says he has info that Trump was monitored and that such surveillance was legally done, it forced Comey’s hand. The surveillance may have been legal - but leaking Flynn’s name is not. Comey refused to answer whether there was an investigation into the leak of Flynn’s name - trying to hide behind the leftist meme that Trump’s tweet about being bugged was an outrageous lie. As long as nobody could prove Trump was wiretapped, Comey was safe not to look for anything. Now that Nunes has come out with this publicly, Comey will now HAVE to investigate. And he has to give what he finds to Sessions - all of it, and do his job diligently or get fired. Nunes basically forced Comey into ratting out the leakers by saying what he said today. Very clever of Mr. Nunes.
They don't have to tapp them they require the telcos to wire them into the major fiber hubs.
