So it is quite unfair for the Brits to lump all Asians together.
Don't make the mistake of confusing what the MSM reports and what the Brit on the street actually thinks/says!

London’s Muslim mayor says terrorist attacks are just “part and parcel” of living in a modern metropolis.
We’re not supposed to try to end them, we’re supposed to just get used to them (according to this scumbag).

WTH?! I hope tourists are taking note of the mayor’s comments. Visit London at your own risk.

Guns are not banned in the UK. They are way more heavily regulated than in the US, but they are not banned and there are a heck of a lot of gun owners in the UK. A lot more than people realise. How many CCW holders in UK? How hard is it to own a semi-auto pistol or rifle?

After listening to Sky it sounds like the LEO who tackled the perp and suffered stab wounds was NOT armed with a firearm?! That the perp was shot by a member of a well-armed specialized protection detail guarding Parliament? Good gad, was that first LEO unarmed? It's my understanding that regular beat cops over there don't carry firearms. Maybe I'm wrong, I hope so. :)

Fair point. I suppose the same situation occurs in the UK as occurs in the States. The MSM tells you how to think, but most folks know better.

Yes, reports on Sky News make it sound like first police officer the perp encountered was unarmed and that officer was stabbed. No word on condition.
Then perp was shot by other officers guarding Parliament.

witness described one of the pedestrians hit by the car going over the wall of the bridge, down into the river.... witness says person appeared to be dead in the water
certainly sounds like multiple fatalities, and a bunch of the victims on the bridge don’t seem to move... they are not estimating deaths yet, but I suspect there are several, at least

OMG, so that officer tackled a machete/knufe wielding perp because the officer had no other way to stop the perp. God bless that officer. WTH is wrong with the UK that it doesn’t trust its law enforcement enough to arm them properly.

Perhaps someone more in the know will correct me if I’m wrong. But it’s my understanding that for centuries the British police and British criminals had an informal understanding: I won’t carry weapons if you won’t.
That agreement is obviously outdated. Islamists are now using easily-available knives and cars as weapons.
