Justice: FBI Director James Comey told Congress that his agency is investigating President Trump's campaign for evidence it colluded with Russia to influence November's election. The only problem is he has no evidence at all that it has taken place.
In his testimony to the House Intelligence Committee, Comey said that the FBI was investigating the Trump campaign's possible coordination with Russia's government as part of a "counterintelligence probe that could reach all the way to the White House and last for months."
These are serious allegations. But both Comey and National Security Agency Director Michael Rogers, who also testified, agreed that there is no evidence so far of any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Nor was there any evidence that Russia's amateurish meddling in the campaign had any influence on voters, Comey said, echoing earlier comments by both former acting CIA Director Michael Morell and by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
If this holds up, it's a devastating blow to the Democrats, who were hoping to use what appears to be an entirely bogus scandal to gin up public opposition to President Trump, for the sole purpose of damaging his presidency — and, perhaps eventually, as a prelude to legal action or even impeachment proceedings.
We wonder: Is this how unhinged a political party gets after losing an election it thought was a shoo-in? It sure seems that way.

I would like to believe that the lack of evidence of Trump-Russia collusion would finally discourage the MSM and the Dems and collapse the whole made up narrative.
But I don’t.
In the minds of the Hillary faithful it has, for all practical purposes, already been proven true. Lack of facts to support that view are easily swatted away. If Trump is being investigated then he must be guilty. That’s good enough for your average Dem.
This non-story will follow Trump forever.
Interesting to read in the Investors Daily article that Comey’s permission to divulge the on going investigation was granted by the Obama appointed Deputy AG since Sessions recused himself. That’s why the democrats were earlier pushing so hard for Sessions’ to recuse himself. Getting this narrative was worked out long ago between Comey and the democrats.
Who needs facts. The Dems just need allegations which have then been pushed endlessly by the MSM as if they are facts.
Once this fake but accurate narrative wears out they will just start a new one.
If there is no evidence of collusion, what is the probable cause for the investigation?
Can something “collapse” when it was always a nothing-burger to begin with?
I wonder if they are investigating the possibility that the CIA made it appear that the Russians were “meddling in the campaign”, considering the WikiLeaks revealing info.
There is a “puppet master” behind all this, and it is spelled G-E-O-R-G-E S-O-R-O-S. The objective is not to prove any wrong-doing by Trump World, but to establish a mindset that would accept even irrelevant or trivial data as “proof”.
There was far more against Slick in 1996, but the wrong acts were pursued, and the insignificant and meaningless “sexual misconduct” charges were the only ones actually brought up as indictments.
Comey should have been fired on day one.
When Comey said it was not a crime for an intelligence source to tell the media a lie, and that intel agencies cannot correct the lie when the media repeats it, the headline for the next 100 years should be that anonymous intel sources are nothing but BS, and that libel by government is now the expected -and legal - norm.

I heard on radio this morning the FBI is also investigating Russian collusion with right wing news like Info Wars.
After watching Comey on TV Monday I am convinced he is acting politically on behalf of the Democrats . Then there is statement regarding the Clinton illegal server and unsecured classified documents on the unsecured server which he claimed did not rise to the level of a crime .
I sure if Trump used an unsecure home server which contained classified docs Comey’s statement would surely reflect his political loyalties very clearly .
With all the criminality comey listed against hillary... and NO INVESTIGATION..
Now today, with NO proof of anything .. they continue to investigate Trump.
This unjust justice is what has to be drained..

Just because Comey says there's an investigation, doesn't mean there actually is one. He could look at a few pieces of paper or a few websites and say there's an "investigation." And he will keep it going as long as he's head of the FBI because he's an Obama fellow traveler. If that's no obvious by now to anyone with an IQ above room temperature, then this country is already dead and gone.
