Skill does not necessarily imply college. For goodness sake there are wonderful trades that are highly paid and are achieved by starting at entry level and working up to apprenticeship and tradesman.
Your “market economics” that everyone “deserves” higher pay is what leftists use to demand $15/ hr to flip burgers. Reality dictates that there are entry level jobs and it is ones’ personal responsibility to gain the skills or knowledge to move up from there.
