When it's money for your roads or you local hospital, you don't seem to mind a bit when the government forks over. Why do I say this, because you don't refuse to drive on those evil roads or use the services of that evil hospital.

I worked for a hospital in a chain of twenty hospitals. They were part of a privately owned non-profit. During construction projects they got state and federal funding for portions of the projects. The money had originally come from my state. I don't see it as evil for some of that money to be returned to help facilitate a project that would help the very public that paid the taxes.

The government in our grand-parents and parents day forked over part of the funds to help build the infrastructure we take for granted today. Our government today will fork over part of the funds to build back our infrastrucure for the generations to come.

This is not evil. Tossing money away for no material gain is. Our govrnment is purchasing new equipment with our tax dollars. New water construcion projects, roads, bridges..., these are things that people from all over the U. S. need and use on a daily basis.

Some things are necessary and others aren't. What is being done here is necessary.
