An independent Mexico had ruled for about 12 years when neglect of the common defense and economy had led to multiple rebellions, of which at least Texas’ thankfully succeeded. Yet for the cause of those few years of incompetent rule the modern nation basically has as its third rail of politics that they’ve a right to have it all back.
They use, or rather abuse, the idea of a reconquest that once stood for the noble and pure ends of repelling Islam from Christian Spain as if it also could apply. It is a shameful thing!
Mexico has rational and strict immigration laws ... but we are somehow cast as racists for wanting to enforce any at all?
When it comes to breaking up this nation..., not gona happen.
Thanks.
I’ve come out strongly against this premise on this thread, because it has become somewhat of a rallying point to others who love the idea.
California is much more of a strategic asset than most folks think.
Why do folks think the left fights so hard for it?
Those who think this is funny need to take a realistic look at the state and come to terms with the reality the nation must not let it go, and we as a nation full of Conservatives MUST come together to rectify this situation.
Gifting this to the left IS NOT victory for our cause.
Just sell the following 11 populous counties to Mexico. If you do that, California becomes a pretty solid red state
Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Bernardino, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Mataeo, Marin, Alameda, Sonoma, San Joaquin and Contra Costa
You are more than welcome to be a bag of nuts. None of my business. All I ask is don’t drop trou and show us you’r nuts.
Very impressive.
You link a YouTube video of a guy threatening to kill folks in the room as an object lesson for me, and then tell me to lighten up.
You do realize that post wound up saying a lot more about you than me.
More votes in California would not have done anything useful because a majority there was/is not in the cards. The Electoral College votes by States. That is what the Democrats don’t seem to have understood. Running up the Trump vote in California was not worth the time and money necessary and would have taken away from work in the states that were available to either side.
HEY. San Diego Marine Corps base and Navy base are down there, plus Camp Pendleton and Miramar, so dream on. Forget it. They can keep their stinking sewage that’s been dumped and comes up to our beaches, though.
You realize you are a fruitcake, no? They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I guess the how many screws are loose rule applies. I think nutbagism is in question. Are you or I a nutbag. I just throw it out as a question.
LOL
Having fun yet?
I am, watching your melt down.
Enjoy.
I’ve played along enough.

Use your cabesa friend. Dont be a McMoron.
California is like a heavy weight tied to a person (the U.S.) in the ocean fighting not to drown. Most of our great political battles would end immediately with 40-45 million fewer leftists in the country, and we would be assured that our country would survive the globalist desire to eliminate it.
I know the whole scenarios just a pipe dream, but without it the Dems in the remaining U.S. would either move drastically to the right or not stand a chance of winning a national election for many, many decades. The GOP would likewise move further to the right as the politics of the entire nation shifted rightwards. Conservatives would dominate the House, the electoral college, and the popular vote, and the left would have far fewer voices. If that were to happen, many remaining leftists would likely be so disgusted that they would move to the Republic of California on their own volition, and the two governments would hopefully facilitate voluntary relocation for those who want to move to or from California (why not let such a drastically divided people have the government they prefer—it’s better than a Civil War?).
I like visiting California. Its a very pretty state and I like a lot of Californians, but it isnt really all that American anymore. Ive been to many places in Canada that seem more American. I understand that some people love their state more than their own political beliefs, but the rest of us dont have to kowtow to their love of such a hard-left, foreign, Fifth Column bastion within our borders. Anyone whos being reasonable knows that California is long past the point of no return and is getting worse by the year.
California: That explains the mental handicap. Sorry, I don’t beat up tards. See ya.
The winning proposition is not to break up the nation, but to devise ways to turn Leftists back toward our beliefs.
I happen to think Conservatism is more powerful than the Leftist message. We will have solve this problem of conversion, or we have already lost the nation.
Trump is trying to bring us together, and Conservatives in the ranks are trying to break the nation up.
Folks, come up with better ideas.
