For medicaid, work requirement is included in this bill, it means indirectly illegals can’t get help. Lets see how CA state will handle that.
So this bill doesn’t directly help illegals, but it is open to help green card holders?
Maybe President Trump is trying not to have the same issues as he had with the travel ban?
Illegals are getting help, now.
What if they have jobs (many of them do)....won’t that meet the work requirement?
I thought they pulled the provision that would require proof of citizenship. And, that that’s (one of the things) what conservative/Freedom Caucus are UNHAPPY about.
Oops....here’s the revision, disregard my previous post.
The provision would have allowed the Treasury Department to access data at the Department of Homeland Security to verify that healthcare tax credits went only to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents, not to illegal immigrants.
Now, with the revision, looks like ILLEGALS can get the tax credits, as well? Am I reading this right?
