Years ago I remember there was a bill to prevent commercials from increasing their volume level on TV. They are still blasting them LOUD. These kinds of bills never go anywhere. :-(

With our satellite dish, we haven’t watched commercials for years, just hit Pause when they come on and then skip through them.

I once thoughtlessly mentioned this in front of my brother, who was in advertising. He did NOT appreciate it.
