It really is sad that Congress can’t work together to get things done and haven’t for years.
Ryan rolled this out all wrong by pushing out many in his own party, thought he could ram it through.
He is too cute by half, hope he learned a valuable lesson.
And who says we have to accept a crap burger?
I agree. I hoped Ryan learned his lesson, but I have doubts about that. I feel badly that he put the POTUS and VPOTUS, and others in this situation, but IMHO Ryan owns this failure. I hope the POTUS learned he can’t trust Ryan and I hope that Ryan got knocked down a few pegs and realizes he needs to start with a group of representatives from the various groups before he starts with the taxes. Better yet, perhaps POTUS should send his bill or thoughts for taxes to Ryan and say here’s what I want, talk to the Pubbies. Either way, he should have Mulvaney and/or Mnuchin in as many meetings as possible that Ryan has with the Pubbies.
