I agree. I hoped Ryan learned his lesson, but I have doubts about that. I feel badly that he put the POTUS and VPOTUS, and others in this situation, but IMHO Ryan owns this failure. I hope the POTUS learned he can’t trust Ryan and I hope that Ryan got knocked down a few pegs and realizes he needs to start with a group of representatives from the various groups before he starts with the taxes. Better yet, perhaps POTUS should send his bill or thoughts for taxes to Ryan and say here’s what I want, talk to the Pubbies. Either way, he should have Mulvaney and/or Mnuchin in as many meetings as possible that Ryan has with the Pubbies.
This is Trump’s biggest defeat. He should not trust Freedom Caucasus. He can’t do business with them, keep them in the corner. He need to poach some Democrats for future bills. These Freedom circus will pull another stunt.
I have absolutely NO faith in Ryan.
He has already said 20% when Trump said 15% on tax rate for business.
He won’t listen to anyone, don’t feel he has learned anything from this.
Like a dim he is probably blaming everyone but himself.
