Castor oil. Molasses for sour throat.

I remember my Great Gramp blowing smoke from his pipe in my ear when I had an earache. It relieved the pain.

Interesting about pipe smoke - all those old-time remedies have a lot of modern-day medicine in them. I wonder what was in the tobacco? Or was it the heat?

I love molasses. I’ll have to google what it’s good for.
