Someone mentioned the other day, that we (Texans) should carve out Austin/Travis Cty, and send it to CA, since they want to be just like CA.

I’m amazed at how many there are. I also don’t get why many won’t honor a detainer based on a “county or other jail or prison policy” or based on decision by the county sheriff. It seems to me that they should have absolutely no say in the matter and follow FEDERAL LAW.
