I hear you, I really think a lot of this cannot be fixed at this point. I am an optimist, so I think we fix what we can and move forward. Many will fall through the cracks though and I don’t know what if anything can be done about that.

Here's a sobering thought. It was only 70,000 years ago that man almost became extinct. Estimates are that there were only 2,000 people at that point. And that was before man was doing things that messed up DNA.

I agree with you. It can't be fixed. The best we're going to get is pockets of survival, where there are still people who've taken care of their bodies and minds and developed the skills, individual responsibility, and ethics that are necessary for a society to survive.
