So very, very sad. I cried myself to sleep last night. John loved Free Republic and all of the Freepers so much. Last time we all went to dinner last month he put the reservation under the name ‘Robinson’. I asked him if Jim was coming to town and he said. ‘Oh no, but this is a way to honor him and remember how we were all brought together in friendship’. Just wanted to share that with Jim and you all. Still so shocked. May he rest in the sweet eternal love of Jesus. Love and hugs to you all!

Thank you penelopesire for letting us all know of John’s passing, this is heartbreaking news.
John was my anchor to sanity. We laughed alot together, and he loved you all very much, as we do him.
John, you are remembered most fondly and lovingly by all of us, and your absence from us is aching.
