You nor the media know what the financial arrangements might be for his “vacation” weekends.
You are making an assumption that just might be wrong.
All I know is he is not drawing a salary. He appears to work 7 days a week, probably 14 hours a day or more. Those to me are “good optics”
As someone said above, nothing this man does will please the left or the Never-Trumpers on the right.
Actually, he is taking a salary. Now he is talking about donating said salary.
The real cost of the vacation away from the WH is the cost of the transportation.
If Reagan spent two weeks at a time at his ranch the cost would be far less than if he spent 3 days there every weekend 5 times because he didn’t like the WH.

I am saying that in an age where the agenda is that we need massive cost cutting across the board it is a Let Them Eat Cake deal if you keep spending millions every weekend jet setting to Mar A Lago when you can go to Camp David. He hasn’t even been there. Probably thinks it is a dump.
