Kellyanne Conways husband, veteran lawyer George Conway, is expected to be nominated to lead the civil division of the Justice Department, according to Reuters.
Conway, a graduate of Yale Law School, has spent more than two decades at the corporate firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. While there, hes represented a slew of high-profile clients, from the National Football League to Philip Morris, according to his biography on the firms website.

The only thing I don’t understand about such a move is that it’s likely an 85% salary cut.
He really is in a catch 22 situation. If he stays in private practice, the media would harp on conflicts of interest and if he takes a government job they would harp that it is nepotism.

Just before I retired in 1999, my wife’s salary doubled my highest year, which was very nice salary Itself. In the years since then, she has continued to work and her best year has more than quadrupled mine.

He has been a partner in a very well respected law firm in NYC for a number of years, which has been very lucrative, he can move to DC to be with his wife and family for a few years and then go back to private practice with a unique legal experience that is priceless.
