Right, after they advertised this thing almost the whole day.
Maddow nor NBC had any concerns if it would be a go or backfire....’the game was ratings’ and she did take the night for viewership...especially after pumping everyone up all day for her “flat” news.
IMO Maddow and NBC saw how it played out for Kelly vs. Trump....and soooooooo...worth the risk to get the ratings and make the story about Maddow vs Trump more than the issue of tax’s. ..and the viewership showed up!
