African-American lawmakers aren’t pleased with President Donald Trump’s “America First” budget.
The Congressional Black Caucus, which released its alternative spending plan for fiscal year 2018, contends Trump’s $1.1 trillion wish list, which calls for a $54 billion increase for defense and cuts nearly everywhere else, will hurt middle- and lower-income Americans and stymie economic growth. CBC leaders ripped Trump’s budget for putting tax breaks for the rich ahead of helping the poor.
“President Trump calls his proposal the ‘America First’ budget,” said U.S. Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-N.C.), “but this plan puts many Americans last.”
Ultimately, Congress is responsible for deciding where federal money is spent.

This is the kind of thinking turned out by the government education system that teaches divisiveness and greivance politics and then graduates students without teaching them how to do basic math, think logically or make judgments based on facts.
