McDonald's' in a tweet on its corporate account called President Trump "a disgusting excuse of a President" on Thursday morning.
The tweet, which was briefly pinned to the top of the account before being deleted, mocked Trump and called for the return of former President Obama.
"@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands," the tweet read.

I’m sure the etymology of “disgust” is lost upon anyone at McDonald’s corporate. They’re a fine bunch to be using that word.
They’re also quite stupid to be entering the political fray. A lot of Trump voters will be patronizing other fast food outlets now.
This smells of hacking. No one in their right mind at company HQ would do this.

I had NO idea that punk Robert Gibbs was on the payroll for McDonald’s.
I think I am done eating there....I rarely do anyway, but still hit them in emergencies. They’re going to go the way of Subway for me—I haven’t eaten there since they teamed up with Michelle Obama.

Folks, this smells to me like the McDonald’s account was hacked. To my knowledge McDonald’s has never had a reputation for being overtly political, let alone allowing itself to post such a juvenile unprofessional tweet. Can we at least give the story a chance to play out before deciding to boycott and crucify the Golden Arches?

While I would ordinarily agree with you that this smells of hacking I can’t get over how absolutely clumsy the left has gotten in their bitterness.
I will boycott McDonald’s until Robert Gibbs has been removed from his position. It’s obvious this was an intentional “sorry not sorry” tweet.
While I’m sure the sentiment on behalf of many of the McD’s Corporate Obama Fluffers is real, I have to believe that this was certainly not condoned by the folks at the top....this is too stupid to be real, would like more info.

Seriously doubt this was an “official” (even a rogue employee) comment.
