McDonald's' in a tweet on its corporate account called President Trump "a disgusting excuse of a President" on Thursday morning.
The tweet, which was briefly pinned to the top of the account before being deleted, mocked Trump and called for the return of former President Obama.
"@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands," the tweet read.

Have not seen the movie, but just from the first few seconds it sounds like a hit piece.
My wife is in HR for an owner/ operator who owns 12 stores in the area. When candidate Trump finished a rally here he placed an order at the store near the airport. The order was over $150.
The store got the order wrong!

When I read about someone being fired for this stupidity, I will consider going back in a year or two.
A lot of people have been fired for accidentally tweeting on their business account when they thought they were tweeting on their private account or they send a private e-mail to "all" or "everyone".
I suspect this is what happened to Gibbs. Now they are trying to claim they were "hacked". If they were "hacked" then the hacker didn't really take advantage of it, did they?
Usually when an account is "hacked" there is a whole bunch of stuff that is tweeted or posted.
Nobody hacked McDonald's twitter account.
Occam's Razor tells me that the person they should be looking at is the guy who has to approve every single tweet from the company. As vice president of communications, that person would necessarily have to be Robert Gibbs.
Confirmed by whom? McDonalds? Sounds like corporate CYA to me.
Nobody hacked them. This has all the earmarks of an accidental tweet by the guy in charge of releasing tweets to the public.
My boycott started eight years ago. I guess it stays in place.
Boycott McDonalds NOW! I will never, ever go there again. McDonalds can kiss my RED, WHITE AND BLUE ASS!
