“Not a fan of the NPR talk radio”
What is it with NPR’s announcers? I’m not sure if it’s a local thing or national, but the people who read the news and such on NPR talk in such a way that is soooooo different than any conversation I’ve ever heard. They talk in that real soft spoken, hoity toity, weird kind of way. Ought to be defunded for that reason alone!
They speak the news the way golf announcers describe the golf action....”Today Kim Jung scores a nuclear hole in one by irradiating Los Angeles...this and other news on ALL THINGS CONSIDERED...(cue jouncy happy music!)!
Today, Europe stuck its COLLECTIVE tongue out at Trump!...This is Sylvia Poggioli(Pa-Joooooaaaaa-li...strongly accented and elongated second syllable with just the right amount of condescending air in the nose hate American rubes sound) for ALL THINGS CONSIDERED! I chuckled everytime I heard her stuck up European loving murmurings with the “Silvia Poggioooooooooli” at the end of every report!
