When was the last time you saw a really good movie?
At least 90% are garbage. Put out something slick with big names and roll to DVD within a couple of weeks. Folks will rent anything on DVD at Red Box...based on title, names and cover pictures.
The studios are making money on the crap.
The last movie I went to see was “The Second Best Marigold Hotel” and that was like two or three years ago. Before that it was “Quartet” both seen in a small theater called “The Rose” in Port Townsend, WA. I don’t go to multi-screen cinema’s anymore.
