I don’t have a Facebook profile
Not everyone on facebook actually puts their own pic as their avatar.
This isn’t new, I have heard of othe companies doing it. It reminds me of the movie Minority Report, when the protagonist goes to a shopping mall and signs start to target him with personalized ads based upon his retina.
Right now my Facebook profile is a photo of my grandmother when she was a young woman over 100 years ago.
When it comes to this kind of stuff, anything I can do, the government can do a hundred times better.
I remember the first time Facebook correctly identified my wife in a photo. It was creepy.
It would be interesting to use to find my dopplegangers.
I’d say “IBT what’s Facebook?” but I’m sure more than a few people have said that already.
Just wondering how that works...do they have their own image database harvested from of all pics on FB (must be in the billions)? And FB allows that to happen? Or do they piggy-back onto FB through some FB account? Again, would FB allow that to be done? How long does it take to go through a billions-of-images database anyway? Color me skeptical.
Any takers at $17.60 each?
