(b) The Director shall publish a notice in the Federal Register inviting the public to suggest improvements in the organization and functioning of the executive branch and shall consider the suggestions when formulating the proposed plan described in subsection (c) of this section.

(c) Within 180 days after the closing date for the submission of suggestions pursuant to subsection (b) of this section, the Director shall submit to the President a proposed plan to reorganize the executive branch in order to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability of agencies. The proposed plan shall include, as appropriate, recommendations to eliminate unnecessary agencies, components of agencies, and agency programs, and to merge functions. The proposed plan shall include recommendations for any legislation or administrative measures necessary to achieve the proposed reorganization.

EVERYONE with even the LEAST FReeper cred at all ought to be Johnny-on-the-spot with their righteous conservative input when that comment period is announced.

I DECLARE IN THE STRONGEST OF TERMS: THAT CANNOT BE PERMITTED TO OCCUR!

Indeed, if Free Republic had been brought into existence for NO OTHER PURPOSE than for FReepers to BE The Voice of Conservative America at this exact juncture, and provide the input this Administration is asking for; to seize upon this chance to forcefully advocate DIRECTLY to this Administration, at the highest level, for the restoration of Constitutional constraints upon the Federal powers; why that alone would justify every last thin dime invested in its existence.

How Great could America become without the daily intrusions of the Beltway alphabet soup of Federal agencies? A resounding success on this front could be significant enough to rival a SCOTUS overturn of Wickhard v. Filburn and the Restoration of The Commerce Clause! And here Trump has gone and tossed the Golden Opportunity right into our very LAPS!
