Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Democrats will not vote for a must-pass government funding bill next month if it includes money for construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
"That will not stand," Schumer, D-N.Y., warned Monday in a Senate floor speech. "It would be inappropriate in our judgement to insist on the inclusions of such funding in a must-pass appropriations bill that is needed by the Republican majority to avoid a government shutdown."
A short-term funding measure expires in April.

Schmuky isn’t afraid of the fallout if the democrats shut down the federal government. The RINOs used the excuse they would be blamed and the Republican party would lose seats in the house and Senate. Fake News is the norm coming directly out DC. This country is in dire need of bringing back the gallows, the tar and feathers treatment and the public stockades, specifically for DC politicians.

First of all the dems are NOT in charge...so without the gutless Reps. they can’t do anything...
And IF the government gets shut down, then shut it DOWN, no pay checks, no limo service, no nothing...let a REAL SHUT DOWN BEGIN!!!
If the socialist democratic party chooses to shut down the government, then they should receive no salaries or benefits, including their cadillac healthcare, during the shutdown.
Just that fast the libs turn into fiscal conservatives and don’t want to spend another dime.
