Good to hear you were able to get the ice off the car. Just in time for that snow hit they’re predicting. What a bummer your pipes are still giving you so much trouble.

No more rain, drat it, though it was kind of drizzly this morning and pretty cool at 41°. The yard already looks fresher though and it'll help the plants. Including a honeysuckle that's been here forever and lots of it had died off because of last year's ice storm. Hubby trimmed it back to the ground and there is new growth there. We're hoping it'll come back healthier. How did your poor daffodils do after the snow storm? I hope they have popped back!

Pretty much still clear and cold here. The sunshine was beautiful, but it got pretty windy.
I didn’t go out, but I’ve been looking online. Found a few, but pretty ugly. LOL! And they don’t use regular light bulbs. I might have to go to a lighting store.
So, for once we can say “Good boy, Peaches”? LOL! I was afraid they’d team up on ya - Peaches holding you down while Ginger nibbled on your toes.
Sorry y’all didn’t get a little more rain. Drizzle helps though. It’s moisture. :-)
Everything survived the snow pretty well. It was all gone by the time I woke up today. I cut several daffodils to take to Aunt Clara this afternoon to replace those I took the other day. Those were pooped out.
Tonight will be a rough night. There’s already frost on the ground and that does more damage than snow does.
No more building damage but I did run across a couple more downed cedars while out taking snow pix last night. Weird that only the cedars took the hits and no other trees were knocked out.
I didn’t catch the news and weather forecasts today or this evening but do see stuff on the radar that’s coming this way. Should be here sometime tomorrow. Just hope it’s rain and not snow. Unless things have changed since yesterday, only rain is expected this week, here and there.
I did take a quick peek at the Anchorage cams this afternoon and it looked pretty. Couldn’t tell there was wind. That sure takes the fun out of doing anything outside. Hope it dies down by morning when you have to get out and about.
I’m beginning to think they don’t make any small lamps that use regular light bulbs any more. I was looking for one a few months ago and they were all made for nothing stronger than 40 watt bulbs. What good are those????? They’re nothing more than night lights. Sheesh!
I ended up getting an old lamp out of Clara’s side of the house. Ugly but it does the job.
I hope you can find what you’re looking for for your mom. Maybe a lighting store will have a real lamp. Crossed appendages!

Oh, I was hoping that the snow from yesterday was the last of the chill for y’all! I hope the leaves you piled around the roots will help keep them from being ruined! When will it warm up there? Are all the kitties doing well? Hope the full moon doesn’t have them too wild and woolly!

We’ll be chilly all week. Daytime temps won’t be too bad but the nights are going to be freezing or below freezing. It’s 27 now and we have a long time before sunrise. Just gotta hope the flowers from Dad survive with what I’ve done to help them.
Kittehs are well but they’re acting like lil monsters. The full moon this month has had a strong effect on them. *sigh* Just staying tucked in the corner out of their way. LOL! Does it have Peaches and Ginger cranked up as well?
