Sarah Palin, the first major GOP figure to endorse President Donald Trump, is calling out House Speaker Paul Ryan for what she says is RINO-Care'...in her first interview on the topic, coming on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel this weekend...
I do want to speak about this, but I am tempted to say not another word from our fearless leaders about this new form of Obamacare that Im going to call RINO-carenot another word from them until we are definitively told that there is no provision whatsoever allowing Congress to exempt itself whatsoever with this law, Palin said. As with anything else mandated by Congress, every single dotted I and crossed T better apply to them, too, and not just the people who they are lording this thing over because remember this is government-controlled health care, the system that requires enrollment in an unaffordable, unsustainable, unwanted, unconstitutional continuation of government-run medicine, and even in this new quasi-reformed proposal, there is still an aspect of socialism. Thats the whole premise here.
Palin expressed serious concern with the fact that Ryans healthcare bill does not eliminate Obamacares individual mandate. It just shifts the mandatewhich requires all Americans to purchase a health insurance plan even if they do not want one. Under Obamacare, those who do not comply, pay a tax to the federal government. Under Ryans plan, those who not comply, pay a fee to the insurance companies.

yikes if that is true
and also, how is that constitutional??
Death Panels redux
We are being betrayed again with the RINOs doing the dirty work.
I guess she must be a NeverTrumper, according to some people here.
Right-eo. The roll-out is very deceptive in character.
The reality is that the government purchases a plan for certain groups of Federal Employees. If buying insurance is no longer mandatory, what are they supposed to buy? They're already buying.
I’m calling B.S on paying a fee to the insurance companies. You aren’t forced to buy it so you’re not forced to pay a fee. It’s a dumb provision to be sure but that’s a far cry from a mandate. How is a tax credit socialism? Tax Credit = tax payer keeps tax dollars. What am I missing here?
Taht’s the Sarah Palin we know and love.
It does eliminate the mandate. PERIOD
NRO folks are over the top, but I’m not bowing to Trump either. Trust but verify.
The betrayal began with the election of Ryan. The Freedom Caucus gave him a super-majority. If we could only eliminate (via election) one person in The Swamp, that person should be Ryan.
Ah, how clever. The government gets its tax/fee/penalty/vig/whateveritscalledtoday out of us through the insurance companies. Plausible denyataxability.
Get Ryan to create something that's similar to Obamacare and hope that Dems won't support it. They're not, so now they can introduce a real healthcare reform package that will get Dems up for re-election and conservatives on board and get it passed.
I don't think Trump is going to sign something that's actually worse than Obamacare. I read Pollack's column on Breitbart about this and it all makes sense. I still support full repeal though.
So, under this plan you HAVE to buy insurance? I’m being completely open about this and the only person who has said anything of substance if Paul Ryan. In his presentation he said explicitly that you can choose not to buy insurance. Too much yelling and not enough substance at the moment.
This is silly. How would “the insurance company” even know who you are. Conservatives are losing this argument because they aren’t being honest. That’s obviously a lie. Tell me the whole story please...
Hey Sarah — tell it to Trump since you have his ear. Trump is supporting the bill.
Is it possible that the Rinos have both Trump and Pence snowed under? They both have said how good it is, and urged its approval, as Stage 1, of 3 Stages. However, I agree 1,000% that every jot and tittle MUST apply to EVERY critter in government.
It also is loosening up the requirements to make it easier for illegal aliens.
Republicans are dead in the water of health care. Health care requires government money and they can’t deal with that type of bill. That’s democratic territory. The Republican dilemma is that public wants this coverage. Health care is vital for families at a reasonable cost. It’s a middle class need and Republicans want middle class support. Well they have to do it the old fashioned way - they got to earn it. They have bit off more than they want to chew.
