She is probably jealous that she wasn’t involved.
It is also obvious any kind of "investigation" would be a complete farce. She, and no doubt many others of her ilk, have already made up their minds. She doesn't want to investigate to get to the truth, she wants to investigate until she finds enough information to twist into supporting the conclusions she's already reached.
