Martin was asked Tuesday by a commenter on his blog, called Not a Blog, who his "dream guest/cameo" would be. The commenter, with the username RaUL_AMDERLAINE, floated New England Patriots quarterback and friend of President Trump, Tom Brady.
Martin's reply was Trump's predecessor, the 44th president.
"Well, Barack Obama would be pretty exciting," Martin said

Throw him out the Moon Door! Fly bama, fly!!!
Nah, he can be one of the slavers in Mereen, then get roasted by a dragon in the uprising :)
He basically admitted he hasn’t even been working on it since he missed the deadline and the show continued past his books. His lazy ass has just been editing fantasy compilations and blogging about football.
The dragon stuff is like 0.001% of the show. Most of the good stuff is far more mundane and less cheesy.
That’s the scandal which sets the whole story in motion. That’s the books.
My dream cameo of Obama would be as one of Michonne’s armless, and jawless zombies in chains, being dragged around by her.
Glad I’ve never watched his show or read his books.
The show is filmed in northern scotland. so, let obama go. when he tries to return, deport him to kenya as an illegal alien if he shows a US passport.

Does it really have a bunch of gay stuff? All period TV is ruined with that ####, starting with Spartacus and continuing through Black Sails.
I think I had a free HBO weekend when that premiered and everyone was buzzing about it. I couldn’t see any more because I didn’t subscribe, and I’ve never missed it.
That’s a role ideal for Jeb Bush.
Homosexuality is about 2% of the show, pretty much like real life. It’s not really a period show, since it’s a fantasy world, even if it looks a lot like the medieval/ancient world and is loosely inspired by the Wars of the Roses. There is a lot of graphic sex scenes of all kinds though, not for everyone.
There’s a reason why homosexuality, incest, adultery, kin killing, etc. are featured in ASOIAF but I don’t want to spoil the ending for those who haven’t read the books/watched the show.
