"Porky's," a 1982 film, offered up a comedic portrayal of a group of teenage boys coming of age in South Florida. Though the movie was shot in Miami, it is generally believed to be based in large part on the Oakland Park roadhouse named Porky's Hideaway, which flourished in the 1950s and '60s.
That bar's owner, Donald "Porky" Baines, was a geniune South Florida character. He drove a pink Jeep and kept a pet lion in a cage behind his bar.

Can rednecks be found closer to Cape Canaveral? Spacenecks?
That’s one helluva picture.
The closest I’ve come is in Dixie County Florida. My wife’s scum of the earth grandfather lived on the banks of the Suwanee River with some lady after he abandoned the family. They figured him for dead when he popped up after being gone for 30 years.
When he died, he ended up leaving his house to my FIL.
(Side note-He trusted Christ the day before he died)
We were down there once for a vacation. Gators in the river, some really memorable off-roading.
It was deer season. It seems the locals liked to hunt from the bed of their short box Chevy 4X4’s...with dogs.
We saw at least 100 of these trucks. Each one had an iron cage the size of the bed. The cage had a swivel chair like a bass boat and two coolers. We assumed one cooler was for beer. The other one was probably for beer. The “hunter” would loose the dogs and drink beer. When the dog ran a deer past the truck, the “hunter” would shoot it then drink some beer. Seemed kind of bizarre, but definitely redneck.
