I'm thrilled that y'all got such a good soaking! It'll go far in helping the spring plants to look good and grow better, for sure!

The fires are awful and if we don't get rain soon, they'll be a whole lot worse!

I found my first rose bud this morning! Woohoo!

Yes, the rain will help everything grow but we wish a lot of things weren't springing back to life just yet. Still have cold nights ahead that can hurt blooming plants. Tonight and a couple of others the next week will be in the 30s.

It sure would be nice if y'all could get a good rain across the state to put the fires out and stop more from flaring up. It just sucks for all concerned - people and critters.

A yellow rose of Texas! So pretty! It'll be a while yet before any roses bloom in this area.

You'd mentioned wanting to see the camellia blooms on our bush when they started opening and they're starting now.
