Commerce Secretary Wilbur Wolverine Ross put the trade world on notice today when he announced a staggering $1.19 billion penalty on Chinese company ZTE for violating U.S. sanctions and selling electronics to Iran and North Korea.
Chinas ZTE has agreed to pay the United States the fine. Remember, in China all private businesses are politically attached to the central government.

I saw an interview with this guy before the election, and I was sold. Solid, calm, analytical, and reasoned.
I was completely impressed with him, and this confirms he isn’t just talk.
Minimum wage ALWAYS results in more unemployment. He should know better.
Mexico's problems are very deep, cultural problems. A minimum wage isn't the answer.
“Wilbur suggested Mexico have a reasonable minimum wage.”
So you can be a billionaire and still be a retard.
I love Jim Robinson, I love Sundance and I love Wilbur Ross........;)
Me too. Jim has actually unbanned me a couple of times. I was hot under the collar during the election. Now happy as a clam.
I THINK you're vastly overestimating the intelligence of the average person.
Do you know anyone who blames the government for unemployment when the minimum wage goes up? I don't.
It would just fuel more anti-business sentiment and greater class division.
You think like a pure conservative as do I. I also realize pragmatic steps to those goals are awesome in the way that word is meant to be used.
By suggesting a high minimum wage in Mexico Trump put them in an arm bar. You must not negotiate much. Ever had someone who could literally tear your off of your body say something like “well.... lets make a deal. I don’t want this you dont want this so...”
Nice! A USA government that actually protects our borders and enforces the import laws.
“Oh and follow the link.... Sundance is a good guy and uses a few adds. Put a few pennies towards him.”
Sundance is a LEGEND in my book...the insights he has have no match!
Ah, that would be enforcing Iran/NK sanction laws.
This is the first thing l read about commerce secretary wolverine wilbur ross: “make mexico great again”
awesome policy!
what bleeding heart lib could complain about giving the mexican citizen a living wage of $40.00 /day compared to the 4 bucks/day they’re getting now.
Brilliente!
